There, almost to the entrance you hear a car horn as a girl crosses the street.
Your focus goes back to the door with 8 pains of glass and quite worn from use.
You pull the door, and a soft bell sounds as you enter. The bell is like a Salvation Army Bell.
Entering the store, you notice the wood floor, with signs of wear. They look the width of furring strips.
Breath deep, and smell the wood rot from the dryness. Only Winter helps with moisture.
You look around and notice how inviting the store appears. And the neatness.
To your left are three lighted cabinets, the old, curved glass style with a wooden lid to hold displays.
The engines are displayed diagonally toward you. And the locos are each sitting aboard a 9" HO straight track.
There is Keith, sitting at his desk in an ancient wood chair that leans back. Hear the creek?
