About us

My name is Nick, and I founded Cameo Coins in 2021.

Back then, I was a Metropolitan Police Officer. I started buying and selling coins on Facebook after I inherited a collection from my grandad. Rare coins became my passion, and I found that my straightforward, honest approach was a real asset in my new career.

Tyler was the first employee to join Cameo Coins as our Head Numismatist (coin expert). He is widely known among serious collectors for his knowledge of British milled coinage and his incredible eye for high-quality pieces.
Today, Tyler and I work as part of a small team that includes my lovely wife and her best friend. We are proud to have moved into our own premises in the summer of 2024, providing a home for our growing business and an opportunity to meet more of our customers in person.
