About us

I have been a book worm since my mum bought me my first chapter book. I will never forget lying on my bed for hours during the school holidays devouring The Magic Faraway Tree, astounded that the pictures in my imagination came together to form stories and lives and places that were so far from my own suburban reality. Through high school and a troubling upbringing reading and words bought me knowledge and inspiration and ways to express myself.

As a fully fledged adult with a long career, three grown children and a bunch of health challenges, I figured fulfilling a life long dream was on the cards, the dream of owning a book shop. While it is not bricks and mortar, selling here online is an amazing way to see my lovely finds wend their way around the country and the world.

I have some eclectic treasures, popular tomes and historic records. And if I don't have it, shoot me a message and I will see what I can find for you.
