As a little girl, like the photo, Mom would have hold of one hand and the other hand would be grabbing anything shiny or colorful from anywhere I could reach. I always did love unusual things. Most of them would quietly disappear from my room, because Mom was a very "beige" person and didn't understand fun stuff.
Once in University I met a like minded friend who introduced me to "junking", hitting the junk shops and I never looked back. We would go in my TR3 and come back with everything hanging out of that little car, intertwined with maybe 3 young women, floor lamps, and any wonderful thing we came across for our dorm rooms. We must have been quite a sight.
I finished my Degree in Occupational Therapy at LLU and went straight to Laguna Beach, California to begin buying and selling vintage clothing. What fun!!
As a confirmed unrehabilitated hippie I still hit the Junk Shops and collect all the great stuff just for you.
