About us

Because of our enjoyment of auctions and estate sales, we search for these each weekend. We quickly discovered that we bring home more treasures than we have space. Truthfully, we started eBay to see if we could make enough selling these items in order to pay our monthly boat payment; we did. Then, we started to think about continuing to sell to supplement an ever nearing retirement; we have. Now, we enjoy buying items to keep and sell. We began by buying box lots, keeping a treasure or two, and then selling the rest. This is how we selected our store name, Banana Box Treasures. Box lots in South Carolina come in banana boxes, and trust us, we have more than a few. Thank you for supporting our business. We appreciate you:)

    The apothecary finial show globe was nothing of the sort. It was misrepresented. The item was actuall made by Owens Corning in 1997 and sold in stores such as K-mart and walmart. This seller misrepfresented the item and tried to claim it was a aopethary antique
