I started collecting pin badges when I moved to the Czech Republic 20 years ago. I used to just sell the badges that I couldn't swap or had duplicates of; but this expanded over time, and now I have thousands of badges listed. I collect many themes of pin badges, principally because each piece is something historical, that was meaningful back when it was made and owned by it's former keeper. I used to avoid the pin badges that had been repaired, but have since realised that in order to repair something, that item must be significant to the owner. So when I find a pro democracy pin with a hastily glued back, it's because someone was leaving for a pro democracy meeting and really needed it to be seen with them. I have pins from the first Czechoslovak republic, the political shifts around WW2, the communist era, the rebirth of democracy and from all the societies, clubs, trade unions and fashions that existed through these times.

I am not sure what happened to mailing this vintage pin for Mariazell (Maria Zell) in Austria. The tracking for the pin has absolutely NO ENTRIES (like it was never mailed). I do remember receiving an email from the seller about a delay in posting this pin. However after many weeks, I did send an email to the seller about the status of this shipment. I got no explanation reply from the seller, but there was an IMMEDIATE REFUND after my email. It is a hard call as whether Neutral or Positive?
