Listing your item with product details from our catalog
Listing an item that's in our catalog
When you select an item from the catalog, be sure it's an exact match with what you're selling. If your item is used or refurbished, describe the condition and use the listing description area to note any wear or flaws. Include additional photos that show the condition.
When you create a listing or relist an item, the steps you complete depend on the listing method.
Listing or relisting a single item
When you create a new listing or relist an item, you're asked to select a product or category. You're prompted to search for the product in our catalog using item identifiers such as the UPC (Universal Product Code), manufacturer's part number, or manufacturer and model keywords. If an identifier matches a product in the catalog, you're asked to select the product, and then you can include existing product details and a stock photo.

Choosing the right product
When you use the product catalog, it's important to select the right item so you don't mislead buyers. If the catalog doesn't have an exact match, don't use it. Instead, you can ask us to add a product to the catalog. Here are guidelines on when to use the catalog.
Reporting incorrect or missing product details
Product details and stock photos are provided by other companies and may be changed or removed from time to time. So it's a good idea to confirm the accuracy of the information before listing your item.
