Most weapons can't be listed on eBay because of strict laws banning the sale of such weapons and/or weapon parts without an applicable valid licence and/or approval of the relevant authority. To safeguard the community, we may also ban other related items that are legal to sell outside of eBay.
Licences or permits may be required in order to import, export, tranship, bring in transit or deal in certain goods under the Arms and Explosives Act (Cap. 13), the Strategic Goods (Control) Act (Cap. 300), the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2013, the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act (Cap. 272A) and/or such other applicable legislation. It is your responsibility to obtain the relevant licence and/or permit required to deal in such weapons and we shall not be liable, whether to you or otherwise, for your failure to obtain such licences and/or permits.
Listings of permitted weapons must comply with the above legislation. In addition, listings must follow our guidelines as well as meet the following requirements:
The seller is located in Singapore;
The buyer is located in Singapore;
The item is also in Singapore;
Both the seller and buyer are licensed to purchase and possess the permitted item (if necessary under local laws); and
The seller offers only domestic shipping for the item, since international shipping would make the item available in countries where it might be prohibited.
Make sure your listing follows the guidelines below. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

Before posting any military items on eBay, check the information contained in Part 121 of the International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This law restricts the export and import of certain military items and information. In addition to other regulations and restrictions, for the items and information listed in Part 121, ITAR also requires sellers who intend to ship these items to outside the United States to obtain a special license from the U.S. Department of State.
Since we cannot determine whether the seller has a license, the seller can only sell items to U.S. citizens currently living in the U.S. You must specify in your listing that only local delivery is allowed, and ensure that you and the buyer comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as eBay policies.
The items and information that are permitted by eBay but listed in Part 121 can only be published on eBay's US website (eBay.com) by sellers registered in the United States, and only for local delivery (within the United States). In any case, the items listed in Part 121 of ITAR cannot be published on other eBay websites.
For safety reasons and to comply with laws and regulations, we restrict the weapons and accessories that can be sold on eBay. Please ensure that you comply with all laws and regulations and comply with eBay policies before buying or selling these items.
