The Barnett XV1700A is a clutch spring conversion kit for the Yamaha VMAX 1200 series of motorbikes. The spring kit also fits the Yamaha Road Star (XV1600A) and the Yamaha Royal Star. The kit converts the factory diaphragm spring into heavy-duty, six-coil springs that provide a more controllable and progressive engagement. The kit comprises springs, screws, and a pressure plate, and can be easily installed into the factory-made clutch basket.
