World Class Soccer features national teams from all over the world, although except for differences in flag and uniform colors, the choice of team doesn't affect gameplay. Each team consists of 11 players (one goalie and ten on-field). <br><br>As in real-life soccer, the object is to drive the ball across the field and kick it into the opposing team's net. Players may dribble the ball using their feet and can pass it to teammates. Defending players can try to kick the ball away or go for a slide tackle. All the basic elements of soccer are in the game, including corner and goal kicks, throw-ins, and fouls. At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins.<br><br>In the options screen, players can choose from one of three CPU difficulty settings. Players can also determine the field conditions and set the game length from 10 to 90 minutes. In addition, users can opt to have the CPU choose everything, including both teams.
