Author BiographyBonnie Banks-Beers (Author) finds literary inspiration at the oldest continuously running bookstore in the world - the Moravian Bookshop in Bethlehem, PA - where she takes her daughter to story-time, and where she previously worked as head cook and kitchen manager before attending the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in NYC. A Moravian College alumna, she works as a freelance musician, teaches math-related after school workshops (Pinochle, Solitaire, and other games), and enjoyes vegetable gardening and cooking and Jazzercising ... to work off the effects of the cooking! Jonah Beers (Illustrator) is going into eighth grade at Saucon Valley Middle School and illustrated this book while in sixth grade. He plays the trombone in the concert and jazz bands. He likes drawing pictures and reading. In his free time, Jonah enjoys playing his XBox 360, and likes riding his bike while hanging out with friends. Jonah also likes to watch SpongeBob SquarePants and the Simpsons, his two favorite shows on TV. He will eat anything served on his plate as long as it's not moving (within reason).
