Warrior Kings offers tactical 3D action and freedom in character development as players strive to reunite a shattered kingdom, making use of diverse landscapes, buildings, and weapons. Decisions made during the campaign determine whether evil, good, or neutrality reigns in the kingdom.<br><br>Gathering resources, escorting the all-important cart from harvest to warehouse, setting patrol routes and waypoints, fighting off attacks, creating a working economy, building units, structures, and farms, protecting caravans, defending villages, and upgrading units through research and technology are all part of a day's work for potential warrior kings. Elements of gameplay include building a military force using heavy or light infantry or cavalry, controlling formations (column, line, orb or wedge) in real-time combat and movement, maneuvering reconnaissance units, wielding siege weapons, summoning demonic units, utilizing four types of ships, garrisoning, and taking advantage of "Acts of God."<br><br>Mission-based chapters in the single-player campaign require attention to food consumption, unit support, population limitations, supply lines (over land or sea), resource generation (food, wood, stone, and gold), prayer, and sacrifice.
