At less than 6 inches long and weighing under 20 oz, the Vivitar Series 1 is quite small for a telephoto lens, making its use less cumbersome. The 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 lens includes infrared focusing for often-used focal lengths, and has a minimum focusing distance of 3.3 ft.
