Contrary to what its title might imply, US Special Forces: Team Factor lets players lead Russian Spednatz and independent terrorist groups in addition to elite U.S. forces. Featuring first-person, multiplayer, squad-based combat, Team Factor offers 16 mission-based scenarios, including two at night, in which players choose to be a soldier, sniper, specialist or scout. An arsenal of more than 50 firearms and items is available in three modes of play: arcade, realistic or custom. Additional gameplay options include friendly fire effects, re-spawning time limits, free camera views or manual weapon sights.<br><br>In both single-player and multiplayer modes, players can select a number of aggressive, defensive, or balanced computer-controlled "bots" to fill out squads. Unlike many team-based shooters, Team Factor pits three opposing forces (blue, red, and black) against one another in the missions. A Head Up Display (HUD) display provides a timer, radar, stamina bar, accuracy bar, health bar, text window, ammunition count, and active weapon. When playing in realistic mode on the Internet, an RPG element measures performance in six attributes: strength, endurance, stealth, enemy detection, marksmanship, and breath control.<br><br>Bonus add-ons, including demos, documentation, mission packs, wallpaper, and various patches are available at the official US Special Forces: Team Factor website.
