NotesDouble vinyl LP pressing. Mute presents the first vinyl release of Tomorrow's World by Erasure, the duo's fourteenth album originally released in 2011. Written by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell in New York, London, and at Clarke's cabin studio in Maine with producer Frankmusik (Lady Gaga, Pet Shop Boys), the release found Erasure settling nicely into that groove that the best veteran bands often do. With Clarke's vintage collection of analog synths providing the final touch, the end result is a collection of electronic songs that sound contemporary and classic at the same time with all the hallmarks of vintage Erasure: accessible songs, flamboyant vocals and fizzing synths.
