He was a famous mathematician and computer scientist during the era of World War II who helped to solve the German Enigma Code, leading to the victory of the Allies. Unfortunately, Turing was arrested shortly thereafter for reasons that would seem unjust today. The riveting story does a fantastic job of evoking the feelings of the time, from the triumph of success down to the despair of loss and struggle. It's an excellent film that is appreciated by a wide variety of audiences.
