You have become a millionaire as a result of your successful software company. Now that you have plenty of extra cash it is time to fulfill a dream of driving one of the world's most exotic cars. There are five cars to choose from: Lamborghini Countach, Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari Testarossa, Lotus Turbo Esprit, and a Corvette. After choosing a car the goal is to take this car to the "Top of the Rock." This requires driving along twisting roads on the side of a mountain in an effort to reach the top. There is no clock or opponent to beat as this is not a racing game. You simply must drive a car to the top of a mountain. However, potholes, Sunday drivers, and water slicks will make things more difficult. Avoiding objects such as these may be simple on most roads but not when one wrong move can send you over the side of a mountain. One more thing exists that can impede your progress, the police. Speed limit signs are posted along the road and if they are broken a cop will soon appear in the rearview mirror. A radar detector is located on the upper-left sun visor. Listen to the beeps for an early warning and the police can be avoided. Test Drive ends when you reach the top of the mountain, use your five chances (crashes and speeding tickets), or crash into the back of a police car.
