The Tamron G005 is a macro lens designed to mount on APS-C DSLR cameras with small imagers, including models by Sony, Nikon, and Canon. The 60 mm lens is the equivalent of a 93 mm lens when used with an APS-C digital SLR camera. This high-speed f/2 1:1 Tamron macro lens works equally well with macro photography, capturing 1:1 life-size macro images and traditional portraits. An ultra-wide aperture allows for high-quality shots in low light with this 60 mm lens. Two LD glass elements and internal focusing (IF) in the Tamron G005 provide crisp and clear photos. This Tamron macro lens has the longest shooting distance in its class and has a 9.1-inch minimum shooting distance. The Tamron G005 lens is part of Tamron's Super Performance line, designed with top of the line elements.
