Gamers join the legendary First Infantry Division a relive some of the most dramatic battles of WWII in the grid-based turn-based strategy T.A.C. Heroes: Big Red One. In the main campaign, players instruct their soldiers to occupy strategic locations, destroy opposition vehicles, and capture enemy officers in 16 missions spread from 1942 to 1944. Each soldier is unique, with different statistics for rank, strength, and speed; and every individual can carry two weapons and four special accessories, allowing for more varied combat. There are two different difficulty levels, and in addition to the 16-mission campaign, T.A.C. Heroes: Big Red One also lets gamers take part in 35 independent scenarios.
