This social strategy game is founded on the 2001 "Australian Outback" second season of the wildly successful CBS reality-based television series Survivor. Tina, Colby, and the 14 other real-life Australian Outback contestants are featured, as well as the 16 contestants from the original "Pulau Tiga" season. Gamers have the option to play as any one of these actual contenders or to create their own characters for the virtual 42-day competition. The gameplay and interface allow players to take on tribal responsibilities, form alliances, win immunity challenges, and vote at tribal council.<br><br>Player characters are further customized with a choice of ten different survival skills such as fishing, cooking, strength, or intelligence. Each tribe member also assumes different chores and responsibilities for the welfare of the group. As in the television show, all of these interrelated aspects have bearing on the end result and only the players who make the best use of their skills, abilities, and place in the social dynamic have a chance to be named the ultimate survivor when the tribe speaks for the final vote. Multiplayer options are supported across the Internet or a local network connection.
