Assume the guise of Luke Skywalker and fight for the Rebel Alliance as you follow the plot of the second Star Wars movie in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. In 2D-platform style, guide your Tauntaun through the icy caverns of Hoth, evacuate Echo Base, brave the swamps of Dagobah, and fight your way through the Imperial forces on Bespin. Other levels allow you to destroy AT-ATs in your snowspeeder and battle hostile ships in your X-wing. <br><br>As the game progresses, Luke grows more powerful with the Force, allowing him to jump higher, run faster, reflect enemy shots, enhance the power of his weapons (lightsaber and blaster), levitate and convert the power in his Force meter to health. Some of these are attained early in the game, but many are learned in Dagobah under the tutelage of Yoda. <br><br>In addition to such common foes as Stormtroopers and Probe Droids, Luke also must defeat the bounty hunter Boba Fett and give his all against Darth Vader in a climactic confrontation.
