This first retail expansion package for Sony Online and LucasArts' ambitious Star Wars Galaxies makes the highly anticipated addition of autonomous space travel to the persistent world RPG. Players can now pilot personal, interstellar spacecraft that allow them access to new species, new worlds, and new challenges in a galaxy far, far away. Deep-space dog-fighting -- a staple of the beloved film series -- also becomes available with the Jump to Lightspeed. The game adds new character classes, mostly focused on piloting and ship maintenance skills. Accomplished player characters can gain access to a larger ship, which is intended to be operated by more than one person at a time.
