The SVO-2000 incorporates the S-VHS recording format to provide superb color picture quality, delivering 400 lines of horizontal resolution. Its consistent, clear image reproduction contributes to superior editing results. To obtain optimum picture performance, the SVO-2000 features an Adaptive Picture Control (APC) System. In the recording mode, APC automatically tests an inserted tape and checks the condition of the video heads. It then adjusts the VCR recording circuitry to capture images that are as clear and crisp as they can be. In playback mode, APC automatically sets the ideal balance of picture sharpness and clarity. The SVO-2000 incorporates a Hi-Fi stereo recording system, providing a superb dynamic range and a wide frequency response for high quality sound reproduction. Individual recording level controls are provided for the right and left channels. Equipped with a Flying Erase head, the SVO-2000 ensures glitch-free insert/assemble editing.
