Product Information

The Distilled Evil, a race of space dwellers, are using their Sporg slaves to create bio-mechanical weapons known as Sinistars. You must stop them by moving level by level, one Sinistar at time, until you face the ultimate Sinistar. Sinistar: Unleashed is a remake of the 1982 coin-op Arcade game Sinistar. It is a 3D space shooter that consists of a series of levels. In each level, you race the Sinistar's minions for control of the all-important "sinisite" crystals. Crystals can do any number of things from fuel your ship to power your weapons or be formed into Sinibombs. Should workers get to the crystals ahead of you, they'll use the crystals to power a warp gate and summon the Sinistar itself. Face it or be destroyed. As you progress, the opposition gets tougher and the Sinistar changes. You never quite know what will come out of that warp gate next. There are bonus levels containing power-ups that you acquire by completing various objectives such as protect or search and destroy. Sinistar: Unleashed has 24 single-player levels along with five bonus levels. The weapon selection includes classic lasers and Sinibombs as well as newer additions like the concussion gun, lightning gun, charging photon, mind control gun, and the lightning storm.
