The Sigma EX 150 mm APO HSM DG OS lens is a lightweight and compact telephoto lens for Canon which is also capable of capturing refined macro photos as its minimum focusing distance is at 15 inches while its magnification ratio stays at 1:1. Moreover, ghosting and flare are reduced by multi-layer coating whereas three special low dispersion glass elements of the Sigma EX 150 mm provide color correction and ultimate sharpness producing high quality photos. As the Sigma lens has the optical stabilization function, it can be held stable even in low-light conditions. The minimum aperture of the telephoto lens has the value of f/22 whereas the maximum aperture is f/2.8 and the angle of view has the value of 16.4 degrees. The lens could also be operated in the autofocus mode. As far as the construction is concerned, it the 19 elements of the Sigma lens belong to 13 groups and it has a total of nine diaphragm blades.
