Once again the human race is imperiled by an alien species. They are in the process of setting up space stations that contain horrible, horrible threats to our planet. In Secret Quest, your mission is to destroy the space stations and save the earth.<br><br>Similar to Atari's Adventure in its perspective, Secret Quest's characters are viewed from the side, although action takes place from a top-down scenario. Move from room to room destroying aliens and gathering the information you need to destroy each space station. To destroy a space station, you must discover the secret destruct codes for each level, enter them into the self-destruct mechanism, and exit into the teleporter before the ship explodes.<br><br>Hindering your progress are an assortment of nasties, including Dragons, Snakes, Firecrackers, Ghosts, Stompers, Squids, Medusas, Spinners, Floaters, Machines, Choppers, Potato Men, Bear Traps, and Electric Zappers. You must also contend with a diminishing energy and oxygen supply. Energy and oxygen containers appear after a room has been cleared of all aliens.<br><br>Fortunately, you have several weapons you can acquire on your quest: an Energy Sword, a Sonic Blaster and a Particle Beam. Each weapon does varying amounts of damage and requires a varying amount of energy. Players may switch weapons by accessing the status screen using the TV/Type selector.<br><br>A game of Secret Quest may be saved and reloaded by using save codes that are appear on the status screen.Product Identifiers
