Shinichiro Watanabe follows his legendary anime series COWBOY BEBOP with the similarly hip and stylish SAMURAI CHAMPLOO. After saving them from execution, ditzy Fuu holds wild Mugen and composed Jin, two samurai warriors, in an uneasy alliance. The trio travels the countryside in search of the "samurai who smells of sunflowers." In VOLUME FOUR, it has become rapidly apparent that the travelers are magnets for trouble no matter where they go, as Mugen is roped into a foolish raid on a merchant's ship, and the group discovers a strange prize while out fishing.
