Once you've committed to the turn, the racing line holds more significance than ever. "Ride" features multiple physics choices to select from with the tutorial offering a sample of them all. The tutorials cover maneuvers like making the weight shifting closer or further from realistic laws, dependent upon your specific taste. Playing on softer settings provides an arcade-like feel, resulting in some contact with opponents. Adjusting to a higher level will result in the rider flying from the road when turning too sharply into a corner. Victory is not impossible should you come unseated, however, with a rewind system assigned to the L1 button. Simply tap to get you and your machine back onto the pavement and continue gaming. The presentation is vibrant and highly realistic as is common with Xbox One console games. The bikes are meticulously detailed as are the characters, and the track contains very little static even during rapid game play. The background screen in the story is highly detailed as well with your character in the foreground of their impressive home mansion. Even the navigation and menus are crisp. The loading screens allow players to browse the stats and history of the bike currently being used, which is one of the more entertaining and informative perks of this addictive Xbox One game.
