"Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure" is a Parisian adventure that proceeds through a series of beat-based minigames. Pattern-matching puzzles and other rhythm games challenge you to tap the touch screen, slide the stylus, or tilt the handheld to the beat of the background music. The story follows an affable young art thief named Raphael, who is notorious for stealing famous works and then returning them a few days later. Players guide him on his quest for an unusual object, called the Wristlet of Tiamat, which may resolve mysteries behind the disappearance of his father. Gamepad and joystick are required for gameplay. Up to two players can play the video game at once.This particular 3DS game was developed by Sega and Xeen and was released in 2012, receiving a rating of E for Everyone. It is geared for players ages 10 and up. The medals you locate throughout each mission allow you to level-up your characters. These level-up powers can provide you with useful boosts during rhythm games that will then help you achieve a higher score.One of the main mysteries you will need to solve throughout the campaign involves the mysterious resurrection of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. This resurrection occurred after the casket of the Emperor was taken from Les Invalides. The story is packed to the brim with twists and surprises. The songs contained within the game span across numerous genres for a wide selection. These genres include everything from hip-hop to classical, so there's something here for everyone. If you wish to play with your friends, a separate multiplayer mode allows you to challenge your friends to a variety of rhythm challenges. The player with the highest score wins. This multiplayer mode supports up to two online players.
