In Rebirth Moon, the first entry in Idea Factory's "IF Type Rei" lineup, you play as Ires, who seeks his father who disappeared after being surrounded by a strange black light. Ires joins a mercenary group, and as he takes on jobs, he comes closer to understanding the truth behind the disappearance.The game's storyline is centered on a mysterious artifact called the Cube, which was unearthed in ancient ruins near your home town. This Cube helps to give birth to powerful weapons, which you equip and use in battle. In addition to missions that help to progress the story, some missions are included in order to build up your characters. While in battle, you have access to partner commands, where you and a nearby ally attack together, and a command that lets you use equipment generated by the Cube. You can modify equipment and skills for your characters.
