RealSports Baseball is an action oriented sports game for one or two players. During the game, the entire baseball diamond and outfield are shown. This allows all nine players in the field to be seen at all times. When the game begins, one team runs out of their dugout and takes the field while a batter walks to the plate from the other dugout. The pitcher can throw up to 8 different styles of pitches: fastball, inside slider, outside slider, inside curve, outside curve, inside slow curve, outside slow curve and change-up. The batter can make five different types of swings: high, normal, low, bunt left and bunt right. After a ball has been hit, the joystick allows you to move your players in the field. Players in the field can throw the ball to any base or back to the pitcher. The "at bat" player can control whether the lead base runner advances or stays on base. If the score is tied at the end of nine innings, the game goes into extra innings until the tie is broken.
