About this product

Product Information

Qwirks is an action puzzle game that has you trying to eliminate little colored blobs (named Qwirks) from a narrow well. As you start the game, a pair of Quirks will gradually fall down the playing field. Match one with another of the same color and they will link together; match four and they will disappear from the screen. This can be accomplished horizontally, vertically, or in any combination thereof. The game features four different playing modes: Practice, Challenge, Two-Player and Puzzle.

Puzzle mode lets you use pre-selected pairs in an attempt to eliminate all other Qwirks from the playing field. Challenge mode allows you to face certain computer-controlled characters, and Two-Player mode lets you try your skill against a human opponent on the same keyboard. If the game sounds familiar, it probably is. Puyo Puyo (the Japanese game from which Qwirks was based), Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and Kirby's Avalanche are all similar titles on different formats.
