Designed for children two years of age and older, Play with the Teletubbies brings Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Po, and Laa-Laa to the PlayStation game console. Players join their favorite character through 11 different games and activities in Teletubbyland, a world of magical objects and sounds that are waiting to be discovered. At any point during the game, the player can choose a different Teletubby to control. In The Hiding Game, you must find the other Teletubbies. Once you locate all your pals, the Teletubbies will join in a group hug. The Favorite Thing Activity has you trying to find Po's scooter, Laa-Laa's ball, Dipsy's hat and Tinky Winky's bag. When an item is found, the respective character will respond accordingly. Tinky Winky swings his bag, Dipsy puts his hat on, Laa-Laa bounces her ball and Po tries out her scooter. The What's That? Activity involves noticing and naming ducks and other objects that appear in Teletubbyland. Once an object is found, you can follow it around the landscape. Ultimately, you will be rewarded with a nursery rhyme that relates to the object. When you hit The Magic Drum, flowers, clouds, Teletubbies, and other objects will magically appear. With every fourth beat, the drum will vanish and reappear in another location. You can find the drum and begin drumming again. Another musical activity, The Cloud Event, features four clouds which, when moved up or down, release a sound from an instrument, such as a flute or a guitar. To begin The Train Event, you must locate the magical train. Once you find the train, you can direct it, speed it up, and interact with it. The Tuning-In Sequence is located at the magic windmill. This activity features 11 video inserts to watch, each with a corresponding object in the What's That? Activity. Eventually, you will want go to the Tubbytronic Superdome, which gives you access to four activities. Chase the Noo-noo lets you control the speed of the Teletubbies as they chase their pet vacuum cleaner. Control Panel features a matching game and a variety of lights and sounds to activate. Tubby Toast has you making toast and trying to eat it before Noo-noo steals it. Tubby Custard is a messy game that involves leaving a trail of custard footprints and then vacuuming them up with Noo-noo.
