Product Information
Pitstop takes place from an 3/4 overhead perspective with a small onscreen map that shows the basic outline of the course and where you are. Tracks are based on actual racing locations such as Monaco, St. Jovite, Le-Mans, Albi, Kyalami, and Jarama. One can add three friends to the racing action, choose between three, six, and nine lap races and tackle three difficulty settings. When the multiplayer feature is instituted, each racer takes alternating turns.

There are also three modes: Single, Mini-Circuit, and Grand Circuit. In Single mode, one can select from all six tracks and learn track outlines or how to work the crew. On the Circuit modes, one must complete tracks in a successful fashion. Points are awarded based on the place finished, and a purse is distributed accordingly. The difference between these two modes is that while the Mini-Circuit contains three random tracks, the Grand Circuit has all six.

In order to succeed and claim the purse, you must maneuver around rivals and avoid the track's wall. Whenever the vehicle hits another car or a wall, color-based damage is shown on the car. When the wheel touches the wall, it'll turn a certain color. There is also a fuel meter that drains over time.

When the car is turning red or running out of fuel, immediate service is needed. Pit lane is located near the finish line of each track. To enter, steer the vehicle into the designated area. Unlike other racers, one has full control of the pit crew. When a member has been selected, you must walk him over to an area of the car, hit the fire button and start working. Tires can be taken off and replaced, and fuel can be refilled. Once the car has been serviced, head back into the race.Product Identifiers
