Packaged with original LP front and back cover art in style of the 40 CD box set, in a Lift off rigid LP box (in the style of previous 6 LP sets from Decca). Includes a full color, English language LP sized booklet including 'The Story of Phase 4' by Tim McDonald (Producer for Phase 4 from 1972-78). Lacquers cut by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios. In the 1960s Decca pioneered the use of a multi 10 channel console mixer which created recordings with an unprecedented sense of spatial realism and movement. Phase 4 Stereo. Following in the footsteps of Decca's highly successful label heritage sets (The Decca Sound, Mercury Living Presence), this generous selection of the very best of Phase 4 promises to amaze a new generation of fans.
