This video diary documents the recording of FLAMING PIE, Paul McCartney's critically acclaimed solo effort following his work on the BEATLES ANTHOLOGY albums. Nominated for the 1998 Album of the Year Grammy Award, FLAMING PIE came after 1993's OFF THE GROUND, and was considered by many reviewers to be McCartney's finest work since 1982's TUG OF WAR. The album showed considerable growth for the artist as a solo performer while still referencing his work with the Beatles and celebrating his collaborative spirit. Part documentary, part music video, IN THE WORLD TONIGHT offers McCartney and Beatles fans a glimpse into the prolific artist's creative process.
