Apart from retailing for a price lower than the sum of the two discs bought separately, there's nothing special about the package. It consists of the two CDs, as they were originally released, inside a thin cardboard shell that isn't particularly attractive. Four years after this set's release, Thriller was given an elaborate 25th anniversary overhaul (with updates of certain songs featuring the likes of Akon, will.i.am, Fergie, and Kanye West), but the version included here will do just fine for any casual fan. ~ Andy Kellman
