Product Information
The life of a ninja is full of perils. Your father was a ninja, but a mysterious half-human/half-beast creature killed him. You are Moonlight, trained in the ways of the ninja since a young age. After your father's death you have sworn to find his murderer and avenge his death.

You are equipped with several ninja weapons, and must fight your way through a series of stages on your way to confront and destroy your father's murderer. When the game begins you're armed with a katana, a supply of shuriken throwing stars, some throwing bombs, and a sickle and chain weapon known as a kusari gama. You can switch between these weapons at any time, and can determine which weapon you want to power up by choosing it before you pick up a power-up icon.

The katana hits all enemies around your front in an arc, does moderate damage, and can be used rapidly. When it's powered up, it has more reach and does more damage. The shuriken is a low damage weapon, but can be thrown at enemies. When it's upgraded you can throw three shuriken at once in a spread pattern. Your throwing bombs do great damage and can be upgraded to pack even more of a punch, but can't be thrown quickly. Finally the kusari gama can be thrown and spun around you in an arc, damaging all enemies around you for quite a distance.

Several types of upgrades are scattered throughout the game and can be uncovered by killing certain enemies. Flashing pink orbs upgrade your currently selected weapon, while solid pink orbs kill all enemies on screen when collected. Blue orbs give you shadow companions. A shadow companion attacks when you attack and cannot be killed unless you die. You can have up to two shadows at a time. Finally, the yellow orb gives you and any shadows you have a barrier of fire that renders you invincible for a limited period of time.Product Identifiers
