Envision the photograph and use light to enhance your creativity with the Nikon Speedlight SB-22. The Nikon Speedlight SB-22 is a flash unit offering compact design and easy operation. With a powerful flash output, the SB-22 is ideal not only for shooting in dimly lit interiors or outside at night but for daylight fill-in flash as well. The SB-22s feature three flash modes: TTL auto, non-TTL automatic, and manual. In the non-TTL mode, you have a choice of four shooting apertures at A1, A2, A3, and A4. Other advanced flash capabilities include bounce, close-up, and multiple flashes. Every 3 seconds, the Nikon Speedlight SB-22 shoe mount flash illuminates the setting and subject in your photos with a bright, quick light that uses a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR), shoe-mount camera. Shadows are no longer a problem with the Nikon Speedlight SB-22, which has the ability to swivel the flash head up to 90 degrees. The IGBT circuit design provides a safety net for the camera in the event of an excess of voltage. You no longer need to be concerned with draining the power when using the Nikon Speedlight SB-22 as it has an 80-second idle that switches to standby mode. Additional features of the powerful Nikon Speedlight SB-22 includes AF illuminator, Flash plus/minus compensation, and shutter speed control. This is a TTL or non-TTL flash, so in order for it to work in the TTL mode of the Nikon DSL digital cameras and you must use auto or manual mode. Powerful features, such as an accurate exposure system, variable power, and the compact size – small enough to keep two of them on hand – make this a great add-on flash. Rated for ISO, this flash covers 35mm lenses and 28mm lenses with a wide adapter. With full power, it is capable of 230 flashes on a 5-second recycle and has an AF Illuminator. It runs on Alkaline, Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, or lithium cell batteries. One of the great features of this flash is that it only draws 1.25uA in standby mode, which means you can leave it on so it is ready to flash the moment you press the shutter. The flash is usable on manual guide numbers or adjust the MD setting for wide diffusers at the 28mm end of a zoom if you prefer. The aperture and distance range chart are attached, so you always know what the range is. The shutter speed is automatically set to the flash sync speed, but it can be intentionally set to one slower than the flash sync speed. Installation is as easy as installing four batteries, loosening the mounting food lock nut, sliding the SB-22 into the camera’s accessory shoe, and tightening the lock nut. Once the SB-22’s power is set to ON or standby, it will be ready to use. This is a great flash if you’re looking to enhance shadows or create extra light for your photographs.
