This release from Team 17 and Dreamcatcher puts the player in the role of the slick-talking, fast-thinking private detective Joshua Reev.<br><br>The year is 2099 and you have been summoned by an old friend to aid him in investigating a potential threat to his political status. As a leading political figure of Union City, Hugh Martens is a high-profile bureaucrat who gets a lot of exposure. He believes that his career, and even his life, may be threatened by a group of terrorists who have been attacking and bombing the city.<br><br>As Reev, you owe Martens a debt from years past and he has called in the favor. Since his last investigator has gone missing, you're his last hope. As Martens drops you off at the missing investigator's apartment complex, your journey begins.<br><br>You must now navigate through many two-and-a-half-dimensional locations in which you can interact with many items on the screen. Switches can be flipped, doors opened, and items picked up. You can combine items in your inventory for later use.<br><br>To be successful, there are many puzzles you will have to solve through the duration of this graphical adventure. Some will require you to decipher ancient codes or hieroglyphics while others may be more logical, requiring you to use the found items in your inventory.<br><br>On your journey for the truth, many new characters and locations will be discovered, but betrayals and obstacles will litter your path.
