The Mitsubishi WD380U-EST is an ultra-short throw projector ideal for rooms where space is limited. The ultra-short throw projector uses a specially crafted lens to achieve a superior short throw ratio of 0.38. A 60-inch diagonal image is reproduced from a distance of just 23 inches. With extensive networking capabilities, flexible connectivity, eco-friendly features and easy portability, this Mitsubishi projector offers superior functionality. The display technology of the Mitsubishi WD380U-EST is a 0.65-inch DMD chip, producing native WXGA high resolution for 1280x800-pixel images and is capable of a 1600x1200-pixel maximum resolution. Its 2800 lumens combined with 3,000:1 contrast ratio are made possible by the DarkChip3, which ensures that images and text are crisp and sharp, and this Mitsubishi projector can also render 3D images using DLP-Link 3D active shutter glasses. The ultra-short throw projector weighs 9 lbs, has 12.8 inches in width by 4.45 inches in height by 10.16 inches in depth, can be ceiling mounted, and has a remote control. An array of connections are provided on the rear panel that include an IR receiving eye, audio output jack, two audio input mini jacks, stereo RCA audio inputs, video and composite video inputs, an HDMI input, a USB type B jack, a USB type A jack for PC-free presentations, and an RJ45 jack for a network connection.
