Metroid Fusion for Nintendo Game Boy Advance is a classic example of Nintendo's popular Metroid series. The series, which stars female bounty hunter Samus Aran, is credited for being one of the first successful game franchises with a female protagonist. Metroid Fusion is a single-player game in the science-fiction action-adventure genre. The game was released in November 2002, and is the fourth installment in the Metroid series. This game is often referred to as Metroid 4. Samus Aran, who learns that a space station is infected with dangerous and deadly X Parasites, is once again the hero of Metroid Fusion. Samus decides that she must destroy the space station and eliminate X Parasites from falling into the wrong hands. Metroid 4 received critical acclaim and praise from fans all over the world.
