About this product

Product Information

Explore a haunting, horror-filled world in Atluss RULE OF ROSE for the PS2. Set in 1930, the game follows the adventures of a little girl who finds herself in a frightening, dark orphanage filled with creepy children and even creepier adults. The games horror action-adventure theme can be a bit much for younger gamers, although fans of horror films will find themselves right at home. Young Jennifer loses her parents in a car accident in March of 1930, and she is handed over to the caretakers at the Rose Garden Orphanage, a dilapidated, scary-looking old mansion located far out in the country in England. There, Jennifer meets a group of children who call themselves the Aristocracy of the Red Crayon. At first, she thinks theyre just playing, but she soon learns that their threats are all too real when they kidnap her. Forced to find items for the aristocracy, Jennifer must try to keep the demented children happy while finding a way to escape the giant zeppelin she is trapped in. Fortunately, Jennifer does have one friend on the journey: a dog. Players can make use of this canine companion by asking it to craw into areas that Jennifer cant enter or attack monsters. Jennifer will also find weapons to use against the creatures in the dark, and gamers will find themselves battling giant monsters or bloodthirsty creatures. RULE OF ROSE is a great game for horror fans or for any gamer that likes dark, intense stories.
