Major League Baseball 2K12 on DS lets you guide your favorite baseball team in a choice of exhibition, playoffs, or season play. Broadcaster Gary Thorne returns to call the action on the field, and the controls and viewpoints identical to 2011's game as well. You'll bat from a perspective behind the hitter, choosing one three swing options: contact, power, or a bunt, each initiated with a button press. <br><br>Once contact is made, the view will switch to an overhead perspective, with fielders represented by dots. On the mound, you'll view the action from behind the pitcher as you use a timing system to determine each throw's speed and accuracy. In addition to updated rosters and statistics, the game includes tutorials and the ability to earn and collect baseball cards by completing certain milestones.
