About this product

Product Information

Acting is hard work, especially for a cartoon character. After a grueling day on the set, Bugs Bunny and the gang like to unwind by playing a little two-on-two roundball on the studio backlot. Join them as they run, jump, dribble, shoot, rebound, dunk, pass and work up a sweat.

You can play Looney Tunes B-Ball by yourself or against a friend, or the two of you can team up and challenge the computer. If you've got a multi-tap adapter and extra controllers, you can have two gamers go head-to-head against one gamer and the computer, or pit two gamers against two gamers. A tournament mode is also available in which one or two players pick a character and challenge all the other characters. You can set the length of the quarters and choose from 10 difficulty levels.

After reading up on the manual to learn each character's strengths and weaknesses (such as speed, stamina and three-pointer shooting ability), choose two of the following as your team: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam, Tasmanian Devil, Wile E. Coyote and Elmer Fudd. Each character is given a special cartoonish defensive move. For example: Taz can break into a tornado spin, knocking down anyone he touches; and Yosemite Sam can fire his gun at a defender's feet, forcing him to dance and drop the ball. When a player makes three baskets in a row, all his attributes get a super boost.

Throughout a game of Looney Tunes B-Ball, you will find an occasional gem. Pick these up to earn money for use in buying offensive and defensive ACME plays. These will enable you to do such wacky things as turn the ball into a cream pie or time bomb, transport your teammate to a spot near the basket, transform the scoreboard into a slot machine, darken the screen, and push opposing players. Steals and blocked shots are also a part of the ACME plays system.

To give your character an extra boost of speed, a turbo button is available. However, holding down the button for an extended period of time will wear your player out. If this happens, simply release the turbo button until the character looks normal again.

That's all folks!
