The JVC GR-SXM745 video camera records traditional S-VHS C videotapes in the standard NTSC format. This JVC camcorder has a 3.5-inch TFT LCD menu screen and viewfinder. A built-in video light and the Night-Alive feature work separately or together to illuminate dark surroundings and brighten obscure subjects. Moreover, creative special effects can be added to playback images shot on this JVC camcorder. A Picture Stabilizer counteracts camera shaking from hands or from moving while shooting to give the clearest image possible. The snapshot feature allows still photographs to be recorded onto tape with this JVC camcorder. Recording time on this VHS camcorder is 40 minutes in SP mode (33.35 mm/sec) and 120 minutes in EP mode (11.12 mm/sec). Additional features of this VHS camcorder include zooming and fade/wipe effects for video editing transitions.
