The Intel Xeon X5560 is a powerful processor intended for use in advanced applications such as servers or high-capacity desktops. The Xeon series of processors are high-speed (2 GHz or more) processors associated with high I/O performance, impressive memory management and, thus, inclusion in applications such as small databases or multi-drive home media stations. This CPU has the speed and specifications necessary to power needs involving the management of media or files in high volumes. The Intel Xeon X5560 is a quad-core chipset clocked at 2.8 GHz.
