This Intel Xeon quad core processor operates at a maximum turbo frequency of 3.46 GHz and has a clock speed of 3.2 GHz. The Intel Xeon W5580 3.2 GHz computer processor has 8 MB of Intel smart cache memory and accepts either 800, 1066, or 1333 type EEC DDR 3 RAM over three memory channels. The maximum memory bandwidth of this Intel Xeon quad core processor has 32 GB of maximum memory bandwidth as well as Intel speed stop technology, which allows for demand based process switching in order to decrease over system demand and reduce resource consumption for less latency and speedier processing.
