The Intel QX9650 is a true 64-bit quad-core processor. The Vcore of the Intel QX9650 is between 0.85 volts and 1.32625 volts. It has a clock multiplier of nine, though this can be altered by the user. Extreme caution is advised if attempting this and thermal management must be adhered to. This Intel Core 2 Extreme 3 GHz processor is housed in a Socket 775 (LGA775) package and measures 3.75 cm (1.48 inches) square. The minimum and maximum safe operating temperatures are 5 degrees C to 64.5 degrees C. The power dissipation of this quad-core processor is 16 watts in extended HALT state and up to 159.17 watts in full running mode.
