Max Wallack has received numerous national awards for his work on behalf of Alzheimer's patients. These include the Nestle Very Best in Youth Award, the Citizen's Bank Trufit Good Citizen Scholarship, the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Award, the Jefferson Award for Public Service, the Daughters of the American Revolution Community Service Award, and the President's Call to Service Medal. He has published in respected journals in the field of Alzheimer's disease and has presented his work at national and international conferences. Carolyn Given is an experienced caregiver herself and an acclaimed middle and high school educator with particular interest in intergenerational programming. Prior to her teaching career, she served as her town's Council on Aging Director and later became cover-story writer and editor of The Senior Advocate (w called the Fifty Plus Advocate Newspaper), a Massachusetts-based mature market publication. Most recently she was the recipient of an award from the Soul-Making Keats Literary Competition sponsored by the National League of American Pen Women. Author BiographyMax Wallack (17) er juniorstudent ved Boston University og dessuten laboratorieforsker ved The Molecular Psychiatry in Aging Lab ved BU School of Medicine. Max tok seg av sin oldemor som hadde Alzheimers sykdom. I 2008 grunnla han organisasjonen PUZZLESTOREMEMBER ( www.puzzlestoremember.org ). Organisasjonen har levert over 23.000 puslespill over hele verden til institusjoner innen Alzheimer-omsorgen. Som medlem av The American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry holder han foredrag pa ulike nasjonale konferanser om forskningen sin. Han har i tillegg publisert diverse artikler i forskjellige vitenskapelige tidsskrift. Max har som mal a bli psykiater innen geriatri, der han saerlig vil jobbe med Alzheimer-pasienter og deres parorende. Carolyn Smith Given er en omsorgsperson som er mor til fire. Hun bor i The Blackstone Valley i Massachusetts. Helt siden 2000 har hun undervist i engelsk sprak og litteratur pa nivaer tilsvarende ungdomsskole og videregaende skole. For tiden driver hun i tillegg med medisinsk forskning for a stotte ektemannens myelomatose behandling.
